Like fortune-telling, PR is an unregulated industry so anyone can set themselves up as a media consultant. And they do.

We know numerous PR consultants who claim to be bona fide journalists who promise they can get you into any publication you want. But it's just not true.

Many PR firms will roll out their top salesmen for the pitch. They'll close the deal, then pass your account over to a wide-eyed trainee with a dodgy media qualification from the local Tech!

Of course, there are excellent PR firms out there too.

Here at Milestone Media we guarantee a set amount of publicity every month. If we fail to deliver, we don't charge you.

We look after all our PR clients personally and we don't tie them up in long term legal contracts.
